It’s time to say goodbye to Season 10 and welcome Season 11 to the stage. Gone is the Golf GTI, with the brand new Nissan Silvia taking its place. A colorful Brazilian theme takes over this season, which has already started (June 6th) and will last until September 6th.

The highlight item for Season 11’s Rocket Pass is none other than the Nissan Silvia (S13). As we’ve seen before in other seasons, the standard edition is available immediately with the purchase of Rocket Pass Premium, while the upgraded “RLE” special edition will be available in the later premium tiers of Rocket Pass. This famous JDM car uses the Hybrid hitbox, similar to the Nissan Skyline, Jäger 619 RS, Endo, and more.

Both editions come equipped with unique wheel designs, which once again appeals to those who like realistic wheels. Interestingly, some wheels appear to be mismatched, meaning the design of the rear wheels differ from the front wheels.

Looking past the Nissan Silvia, we also find a collection of festive new items to rock while climbing the ranks, or simply to show off on your designer car. Most notable of the new items are the Piñata Wheels, Smoke Run Boost, Estrella: Prismatic Wheels, and Laser-Light Goal Explosion.

As you reach tier 70 of Rocket Pass Premium, you will unlock Smokeshow — the multicolored goal explosion-equivalent to an RGB gamer PC.

A premium Rocket Pass is required to unlock this item at tier 70, while painted variants of the goal explosion and other items will unlock at premium tiers above it. The painted variants are also obtainable through trading on RL Garage.

If you decide to purchase the Premium Rocket Pass, which unlocks the Nissan Silvia car and gives you the opportunity to unlock plenty more, it will cost you the usual 1,000 Credits. Alternatively, if you want a head-start on your Rocket Pass experience, you can pay 2,000 Credits, which will unlock both the Premium Rocket Pass and the first 12 tiers.

Take your game of Soccar to the seaside of this Brazil-inspired arena. Set at sunset, this new arena is festive, colorful, and full of life. The grassy field has curved lines painted on the outer parts, which may serve as a reminder to rotate position during gameplay. Should you wish to try out this new arena, players will be able to travel to Estadio Vida in all online game modes, including Casual, Competitive, and Extra Modes.

A new lineup of Tournament rewards is upon us, and this time they include the Autobahn Decal, Chemergy Goal Explosion, Unicorn Juice Boost, Manipulator: Radiant Wheels, and more. With Season 11, Psyonix is clearly embracing a theme of festivity and celebration, which lines up nicely with Rocket League’s 8th birthday next month (which also happens to be RL Garage’s 8th birthday 🎉). We think it’s a fun theme they have chosen to explore, especially with the Brazilian overtone. The Nissan Silvia S13 is a classic JDM drift car, which may end up rivaling the Nissan Skyline in popularity. However, we fail to see how this car fits in with the overall theme. We shouldn’t complain though, seeing as the Nissan Silvia might be the most exciting part of this season. Overall, Season 11 feels like a good update. It’s a B from us.
